The Krombacher Novelle is a typical at first glance, but at the second glance very cozy and iconic pub where you feel comfortable. The special feature: the audience is really very mixed and you never have the feeling that you are in the wrong place. The host and also the waiters and waitresses have to be respected, because they have a very large share in it. At midnight you will always experience lived tradition. Everyone joins in and whoever does not know it, is right there. Definitely take a look!

My plan consisted of spending a relaxed evening in this restaurant, right into the day of German unity. As part of a group of seven, I therefore entered the location at an early hour. After taking off my jacket and briefly using the toilet, I returned to the counter with my colleagues. At this point I would like to make a preventive note that no member of my group a. was drunk, b. I made a disparaging comment of whatever form c. nor had taken any other guilt upon himself. The moment I took off my sweater, under which I was wearing a black Puma tank top (and no, I had a fresh shower), the landlord told us: "I think you don't fit in here, it would be better if you go." There was no further explanation or even naming of the problem. This marks the first time I've been referred to a pub in my 31 years. As someone who goes out of their way to socialize, I found this extremely shameful. Consequently, I cannot and will not recommend this place to others. Instead of communicating in a constructive manner why you have a problem with your customers (!!!), seven of them directly in number, and instead giving a direct reprimand, I consider it below my dignity. Service is different.

Always a good idea, whether for a beer after work or a longer evening. The staff is friendly and competent, the toilets are always clean and also the novella is often good visits what is always a good sign for a restaurant.

Super Gaststädte, to end a Friday evening. Good and capable staff, as well as the known drinks.

A cult pub with heart and charm that keeps its promises especially on the weekend. The crowd is mixed and has a slight overhang to youthful freshness. An illustrious place with moderate prices and entertaining atmosphere.

If you want a beer or something harder, this is just right. At the weekend, the store is often very busy, so it's hard to find a place. Beautiful is the tradition at midnight: let it swing ...

When looking for a place, we were immediately thrown out by the landlord in an extremely unfriendly tone. Whether we would not see that it would be too crowded ... The sound makes the music and, at first sight, being so unfriendly to an audience willing to pay means that we will no longer enter our former first point of contact in the future!

We were directed to the pub as we ordered only 3 beers from 8 people. The fact that it was 1:30 in the morning and the pub emptied did not matter. Furthermore, it did not matter to the owner that customers usually order more than one drink. Upon questioning we were literally "thrown out" in a very unfriendly tone. My friends and I will never visit this place again!
